Fandoms!!
Fandoms: You either love them or absolutely want them gone (´ω｀)
Where do I even start with this postー anyways.
Just as the subtitle says, you either love them or hate them. Fandoms have definitely come a long way with the rise of creative expression and more connected communities with the internet! Personally, I've had many friends whom I actually enjoyed their company within different fandom spaces.
My earliest fandom would trace back to the "Gacha Fandom"1. I always used to love (and still do) watch other people's content that they made using this silly character creator. Although the fandom had its issues. . . (I'll explain more into that next post!) it was still a fun hell of a ride!
Nevertheless, even if I had a good time in fandoms, it doesn't exclude all the bad I've seen happen in recent times. I've been seeing people getting harassed over things that they shouldn't really be reviving threats over, especially on both Twitter and TikTok. I don't know what goes on with specifically these two platforms, but it seriously has to stop. Someone does not deserve to be threatened for sending headcannons for their favorite character. What I'm saying (or better yet, typing) should be common sense!!! But unfortunately, people must've forgot how to act on the internet (｡•́︿•̀｡)っ
But what do you think, should fandoms stay, or should they be blown up!!!
